What kind of support do you offer for people with dementia?

I offer coaching for individuals recently diagnosed with dementia, particularly those in the 'Mild Cognitive Impairment' stage. I provide guidance on securing a happy future, answer questions about diagnosis and long-term care, and help process the complex emotions that come with the diagnosis.

Absolutely! I encourage involving your support network in our sessions. However, I recommend starting with one-on-one sessions to understand your individual concerns before including others.

Where are the sessions held?

All sessions are offered remotely, via Zoom or phone call. For those clients on Oahu, they may also come to my office in Haleiwa.

Do you offer direct care services for dementia patients?

No, I do not provide direct care services. As a doula, I coach caregivers and family members on how to best support their loved ones with dementia and avoid unnecessary hardships. I am not a home caregiver or nurse.
