  • Can I bring a family member to my sessions?
Yes! I highly encourage as much of the support network to be a part of our work. I do recommend that our sessions begin one-on-one, so that I can fully grasp your individual concerns before we extend to the group dynamic.
  • Can you help me with caregiver burnout?
Yes, caregiver burnout is a major concern and one of the main topics I focus on in my sessions with caregivers.
  • How can you help people with dementia?
I provide coaching, not direct care. I help people who have recently been diagnosed and are in what is called the 'Mild Cognitive Impairment' stage. I advise these clients on the steps they need to take in order to secure a happy future in light of their diagnosis. I answer questions about the diagnosis, prognosis and long term care options. I also help these clients process the complicated emotions that come with the diagnosis, so they feel more confident about themselves and their future.
  • Do you provide direct care to dementia patients?
As a doula, I enable people on their own caregiver journey. I coach caregivers and family members of people with dementia, on how to best interact with their loved one and how to avoid unnecessary hardship. I do not provide any direct care support to people in need of caregiving. I am not a home caregiver or a nurse.
  • Where are you located?
I'm located in Haleiwa, HI but my sessions are mostly provided remotely.
  • Where are the sessions held?
All sessions are offered remotely, via Zoom or phone call. For those clients on Oahu, they may also come to my office in Haleiwa.

"We all come into this world needing care and, if we're lucky, we go out needing care too."
